Mind Talk Jam

Where can I hide when life’s issues are eating up my brain?
Who can I talk with when I don’t know what decision to make?

Stress and Anxiety almost killed me, then… I CHANGED MY MIND!

We all have this thing called ‘chattering brain’, and most of the time we just can’t stop it.
When your mind talks jam avoiding the issues at hand won’t help settle your mind, finding the tools that work for you is the key to success for you to start leading a healthier way of handling stress and believe it or not the key is totally FREE and it’s called FOCUS BREATHING

Here is one very simple exercise – The 4SBT (4 steps breathing technique)
This is by far one of the most powerful ways to relieving tension and bringing peace into your being… working with your breath is super powerful. So go for a walk play soft non-lyrical music (or no music at all)

Take 4 steps to inhale 4 steps to exhale;

Step one: Intake a small amount of air through your nose (a quarter of your lung capacity)
Step two: Intake a little more (fill your lungs half way)
Step three: Intake another quarter of your lung capacity
Step four: Now fill your lungs all the way
Steps five and six hold: Now hold this breath for two counts
Step seven: Release a little bit of air here
Step eight: A little more now
Step nine: Release more air again
Step ten: Now release all the air you were holding on to

Start the cycle again. At first it will take some time to become completely comfortable and natural (perhaps you want to practice the breathing process in your mind) then start walking stay with it and follow the flow of your own breath. You will soon be walking and matching your steps to your breath (IN 1, 2, 3, 4, -5-6- OUT 7, 8, 9, 10) You will find your rhythm. I’d recommend start with 10 minutes walk till you are comfortable then progress to 20 minutes at least once a day. You will soon notice the huge difference in your state of mind.
