A couple of weeks ago I went to the National Achievers Congress 2015 to see and meet with Richard Branson, what a cool and down to earth guys he is. I wouldn’t describe him as a public speaker but he is definitely an ACTION, DO IT NOW kind of guy, and I have so much admiration for that.
As a true entrepreneurial spirit, I am a big fan of Richard Branson’s and he did not disappoint. During a short interview with Ben Fordham, Richard cut his $80 tie, what a cheeky guy.
Here are a few things I took from the entire experience:
- If you don’t have a goal with a date on it how on earth are you going to achieve it?
- Learning is more valuable than making money
- What you resists persist (an oldie but a goodie)
- Get out of your way so you can DO IT (find out more about this in the enigma7 Willpower module)
- The best leaders are the best listeners
- Mediocrity is an epidemic in our world
Richard Branson said “Find the time to smile, laugh and joke. Have Fun” and I could’t agree more with this statement.
These and so much more thoughts and sentiments are what we believe at enigma7 – we want to help people learn The Art of Living.
When I participate at events like this, it reassures me that both personally and at enigma7 I am on the right track.
Couldn’t we all do with a bit more of a ‘do it now’ attitude – what are you putting off? Make today the day you stop procrastinating, and start that new challenge.
